Art Classes:
Saturday for children aged 4 to 12 years
Session 1: 11:00am to 12:00pm
Session 2: 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Painting

Students learn the basic principles and techniques of painting. Through a wide range of experiences, students learn about painting tools, basic color-mixing, composition, form, and spatial relationships.
Abstract Art

This class encourages students to develop their approach to abstract painting; they explore formal elements of line, shape, value, form, color, texture, and pattern. Students experience the joy of developing their unique vision through abstraction.
Sculpture

Students explore three dimensions using various materials and approaches. Students use basic tools and experience with multiple media (paper, wood, clay, plaster)
Ceramics

Students learn clay handling methods and various construction techniques to create pottery forms, sculptures, and decorations. Children develop analytical reasoning to identify issues or problems and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
Drawing

Using graphite pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, and pastels students learn the process of drawing and shading. Children develop drawing skills and learn techniques to make drawing enjoyable and easier.
Tutoring

Join us for extra support! Teachers meet with students to review school assignments and homework and provide additional academic support determined by the student's needs.
